RICHARD AI OS — HERMES

Privacy information

This notice describes the personal Socrates assistant operated by Richard Rayner. Updated 7 November 2026.

Information accessed

With Richard’s authorisation, the assistant reads Gmail messages and thread details, Google Calendar event details, the selected shared Home and Work iCloud calendars, and tasks or ideas Richard provides. Google permissions are Gmail read-only and Calendar read-only. The assistant does not request Drive access or Google write permissions for this setup.

Purpose and processing

Information is used to organise Richard’s day, identify commitments and conflicts, prepare summaries and reply text, and maintain his selected task and idea records. Relevant content is processed on Richard’s Hostinger server and may be sent to the AI model provider configured in Hermes. Responses are delivered to Richard through Telegram or his connected Hermes interface.

Storage and access

Credentials are stored in restricted files on Richard’s systems and are not intended to appear in conversation replies. Task records, selected context, conversations and operational records may persist in Hermes. Copies may be kept for recovery. These records are for Richard’s personal use; this public information site contains no account credentials, messages or calendar data.

Limits on use

Google user data is not sold, used for advertising or used to train a general-purpose AI model by this application. The application’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Infrastructure, AI-provider and messaging services also have their own data-handling terms.

Control and deletion

Richard can revoke the Google connection in his Google Account’s third-party access settings, revoke the Apple app-specific password, or stop the assistant. Revoking access prevents future authorised reads but does not automatically erase existing conversations, task records or backups. Richard can request removal of retained application records and recovery copies through the operator contact below.
